CLASSICAL  GUITAR  WEEKEND
CLEVELAND,  OHIO
SEPTEMBER 5 - 7, 2008
CLASSICAL GUITAR WEEKEND
is presented by
in cooperation with the
Classical Guitar

Now in its ninth season, this September's Classical Guitar Weekend will feature seven internationally acclaimed artists in a concentrated series of recitals, master classes and lecture presentations: Colin Davin, solo guitar; Ellen Hargis, soprano, with Paul O'Dette, theorbo; Ricardo Gallen, solo guitar; and Cleveland Institute of Music Guitar Department Head Jason Vieaux, solo guitar, and with Jung-Eun Oh, soprano, and Regina Mushabac, cello.

The diverse geographical origins of our artists and audience members over the years, fifteen states and as many foreign countries, and the even more diverse time and geographical origins of the composers whose works our artists have performed, testify to the fact that the arts we honor here are now - more than ever - timeless, heartfelt and universal.

Please join us then this September 5-7, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio to celebrate an international offering of art music - solo and ensemble, old and new - and the dedicated individuals who make it possible.

Classical Guitar Weekend is presented in the heart of University Circle - Cleveland's internationally renowned cultural/educational center - by Guitars International in cooperation with the Cleveland Institute of Music with generous additional support from the Case Western Reserve University Department of Music, Galli Genius Strings, the Cleveland, Ohio community and beyond.
