Vazquez Rubio's remarkable Solista Model incorporates the same well aged, high quality materials as his award winning Hauser Model classical guitar. Unuasually powerful by any standard, the Solista model concert guitar has a warm, round, precisely focused, even sound throughout all registers. Its beautiful quality and flexability of sound and an unusaully wide color palette (more commonly associated with a particularly fine spruce top guitar than a cedar top guitar), make this musical instrument an exremely attractive value in a moderately priced individually handcrafted concert guitar - a gem by one of the world's most esteemed master luthiers.
Materials: As with all this maestro's instruments, expect superb workmanship and materials. Ind. sides and back, western red ced. soundboard, comfortably contoured cedar neck, ebony fingerboard, low easy action, French polish of shellac finish on the soundboard for optimum acoustic response, thinly applied lacquer finish on the sides, back and neck for durability, Schaller tuning machines (upgrade to Fustero tuning machines for $250.00 extra) signed label, TKL 9100 double arched hardshell case, one year written warranty, 650mm string length (special order 640mm and 630mm options available for $250.00 extra), Galli Strings.
